Introduction to the Trezor® Hardware Wallet

A Trezor® Wallet is a purpose-built hardware device that stores private keys offline. Because keys never leave the device, it defends your crypto from phishing, keyloggers, and compromised systems. Whether you're using Trezor® for the first time or migrating from a software wallet, the device emphasizes ownership, transparency, and security.

Start here: trezor.io/start & Trezor Suite

Always begin at trezor.io/start. The official portal walks you through verifying your device, generating a recovery seed, and installing Trezor Suite. The Trezor Suite App is the official management app — use the Trezor Suite Download link on the start page to get the correct installer for Windows, macOS or Linux.

Security note: Never enter your recovery phrase in a browser or share it with anyone — Trezor® support will never request these words.

Connectivity: Trezor Bridge & Bridge Download

On some setups, browser-to-device communication needs Trezor Bridge. If the device isn't detected or you see connectivity errors, get the Trezor Bridge Download from the official start page. Bridge runs locally and enables secure communication between Trezor Suite (or web interfaces) and your hardware wallet.

Troubleshooting login & connection issues

Search phrases like Trezor login not working, Unable to login Trezor, or Error Connecting Trezor Account reflect common problems. Try these reliable steps:

  • Confirm you downloaded Trezor Suite and Bridge from trezor.io/start.
  • Update Trezor Suite App and firmware using only official prompts.
  • Swap the USB cable/port and test a different computer to isolate the fault.
  • Temporarily disable browser extensions and security tools that block USB devices.
  • If you see “Can't verify Trezor Wallet,” run the Suite authenticity check and reinstall Bridge.

Recovery, 2FA, and support

If your device is lost or damaged, perform a Trezor Account Recovery using your backup recovery phrase. Trezor® does not offer cloud 2FA resets — any 2FA tied to exchanges must be reset through the exchange’s procedures. For firmware failures, complex errors, or if Trezor Suite App not Working, contact the official Trezor Help Center for step-by-step assistance.
